Juvenile Charged With Manslaughter In Fairfield County Teen's Shooting Death A 16-year-old has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the shooting death of another teen while a group played with a gun in Fairfield County The incident took place on Monday, Oct. 11, when 16-year-old Nigel Powell sustained a fatal gunshot wound while inside a residence on Valley Avenue in Bridgeport. Minors Playing With Gun Leads To Fairfield County Teen's Death, Police Say A Fairfield County teen was shot and killed while a group of juveniles was playing with a gun. The incident took place around 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, in Bridgeport, on Valley Avenue.
