Recognize him? Law enforcement agencies in Fairfield County are seeking the public’s assistance as they attempt to identify and locate a suspect wanted for an alleged assault. Police investigators issued an alert advising of an incident that happened in Darien at approximately 1 p.m. on Monday, April 4 on Hecker Avenue. The suspect has been described as being a Black man who is approximately 6-foot tall. Former Firefighter In Fairfield County Sentenced For Dealing Cocaine
A former Norwalk firefighter who pleaded guilty in December to selling crack cocaine out of the central firehouse was sentenced Thursday to three years in jail. Mark Monroe, 46, who was sentenced at the Stamford courthouse, was also sentenced to 10 years of special patrol after he has served the three years. Monroe was arrested in Norwalk in February 2017, after police said he sold an undercover officer three packages of cocaine weighing about 3.8 grams each.
