In Tolland County, a 34-year-old driver was traveling east on Route 6 in Andover at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22 when he lost control and veered into the opposite lane, striking Windham County resident Andrew Moore, of Moosup, near the intersection of Route 87. Accused CT Serial Arsonist Arrested By Police Plainfield Police have arrested an alleged serial arsonist. Roland Bourque III, 29, of Moosup, Connecticut, was arrested Thursday, July 23, on two counts of arson, WTNH reported. The charges stem from two fires: June 22, 2016, on South Main Street; and Aug. 17, 2017, on Roy Street. Bourque alleged confessed to setting the fires when he was arrested after being caught trying to set fire to an abandoned resident on May 2, WTHN reported.

Man Driving Car Stolen By Woman Collides With Two CT State Police Cruisers A man driving a car stolen by his passenger took Connecticut State police on a wild chase, damaging two police cruisers before finally being stopped. John Rogers, 28, of Hartford was arrested early Friday after troopers observed him traveling at a high rate of speed in the stolen vehicle, said Trooper Kelly Grant. Troopers used laser and clocked the vehicle’s speed at 88 mph in a 55 mph zone. Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, however, Rogers refused to stop, Grant said.
