Eversource Cites 'Steady Progress' In Restoring Power To Hardest Hit Areas Eversource’s “army of crews” is making “steady progress” as they continue to restore power to customers in areas of Northern Fairfield County nearly a week after a storm rocked the region. The storm that struck on Tuesday, May 15, uprooting trees and downing utility poles has left thousands without power in Connecticut, as 6,238 outages were still being reported on Monday.
