3 Police Officers Attacked In Separate CT Incidents Three Connecticut officers were attacked over the weekend in two separate incidents. The attacks occurred on Saturday, June 29, in New Haven County in West Haven and New London County in Norwich.  In West Haven, one officer was injured when Imran Ahmed, age 54, of West Haven, allegedly deliberately crashed his vehicle into an occupied police cruiser that was helping another officer who Ahmed had been trying to run off the roadway. Man Charged In Fatal Crash, CT State Police Say A Connecticut man who allegedly went ping-ponging through traffic in an attempt to evade police seeking to pull him over has been arrested on a series of charges dating back to a wrong-way collision that left another motorist dead. Robert Kryzkij was attempting to elude members of the Orange Police Department on Nov. 9 last year, when he crossed over the double yellow line of Meloy Road near the intersection of Carlson Road in West Haven.
