Connecticut Medical Equipment Supplier Must Pay $467K Settlement The owner of a medical equipment supplier in Connecticut medical equipment supply company has agreed to pay nearly $500,000 after attempting to bilk Medicaid by making false claims. Thomas Macre, Sr., the owner of Med Tech LLC in Orange has reached a settlement with the federal and state government to pay more than $467,000 in restitution to resolve allegations that the company violated False Claims Acts.
