Duo Nabbed After Shooting In Fairfield County Two suspects -- a 19-year-old and a minor -- were quickly apprehended after a shooting left one person injured in Fairfield County. Months after taking over at the helm of the aquarium in Norwalk, Hanley has been relieved of her duties, officials announced on Monday, April 1. The move comes after she was unanimously chosen by the Executive Committee of the Aquariums Board of Trustees in November. The Common Council unanimously approved a $1.5 million spending plan using state dollars for redesign work as part of the Maritime Aquarium Functional Replacement Project. Tortoise Hatches At Maritime Aquarium In Norwalk Norwalk’s Maritime Aquarium has officially announced the arrival of a newly hatched reptile barely the size of a quarter: a leopard tortoise. The hatching, which occurred Sunday, Jan. 6, marks the first of its kind to occur at the aquarium.
