Multiple undercover police officers from the New Haven Police Department identified the subject of an active warrant in the area of Lamberton Street on Tuesday, Jan. 8 around 5:45 p.m. The suspect was identified as 22-year-old Marcus Rivera of Quinnipiac Avenue in New Haven. Rivera fled on foot, engaging officers in a pursuit, state police said. Officers apprehended Rivera, who broke free and continued to flee from officers, according to police.
