Dominique Jones, age 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Monday, Aug. 2, by the U.S. Marshalls Fugitive Task Force in connection with a shooting in February, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency management. The shooting occurred on the city's west side near the intersection of Maplewood Avenue and Howard Avenue, Appleby said. David Belle of Bridgeport died at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Tuesday night following numerous surgeries, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.
