Road Closures Scheduled In Ridgefield During Ex-Chief's Funeral
With services scheduled for Ridgefield Police Chief John Roche on Friday, there will be road closures and delays for the funeral procession as it travels through town. Less than a week into his retirement following nearly four decades servicing the community, the former chief died last week. No cause of death has been released. The Ridgefield Police Department issued an alert noting that the service for Roche will be held on Friday, Sept. 7 at St. Mary’s Church on Catoonah Street.
