Teen Seriously Injured Doing 'Wheelie' On Dirt Bike On CT Roadway A 17-year-old Connecticut teen was seriously injured while allegedly doing a "wheelie" on a dirt bike. The incident took place in New Haven County around 4:45 p.m., Monday, May 22, near East Broadway and Shea Avenue in Milford. An initial investigation revealed that a green Kawasaki dirt bike was traveling west on East Broadway near Shea Avenue when the operator lost control and fell from the dirt bike while he was doing a "wheelie," police said. New Haven County resident Michael Esposito, age 45, of Milford, was killed on Saturday, May 13, around 3 p.m. in Milford. Cash, Dirt Bike Stolen In Separate Incidents To Sell Items In Fairfield County Police in one Fairfield County city are warning residents to be careful where they conduct personal sales after one person was robbed of cash and a dirt bike was stolen in another. The incident both took place on Monday, Sept. 27, in Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management. The first theft took place around 4:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Trumbull Avenue when a man told Bridgeport police that he was supposed to meet two men to purchase a vehicle.
