Man Arrested For Strangling Woman During Domestic Incident In Milford, Police Say A 31-year-old man was arrested following a domestic dispute in which he allegedly held the victim around her throat restricting her breathing. Joshua Hayes of New Haven was arrested by Milford Police on Wednesday for disorderly conduct, assault, and strangulation after police arrived on the scene of the attack on Meadows End Road, said Milford Police Officer Joseph Dempsey. When police arrived on the scene, they found Hayes outside of the home after the victim had called 911. Man Chokes Victim During Argument In Milford, Police Said A Connecticut man allegedly choked his female victim during a domestic dispute, police said. Members of the Milford Police Department were dispatched to a home near the area of Old Point Road and Meadows End Road, where there was a report of a domestic violence incident where the man fled the scene after attacking his victim.
