69-Year-Old Suspect Nabbed After Woman Stabbed In Neck At Area Motel 6 A woman was hospitalized after being stabbed at an area Motel 6. Police were called to Motel 6 on East Main Street in Branford at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, following reports of a woman who was stabbed in the neck. As officers arrived, they found their suspect, 69-year-old John Ginnetti, who was attempting to leave the parking lot of the motel. The woman was transported to the Yale-New Haven Hospital, where she was last listed in stable condition. Ginnetti, of Madison, was arrested at the scene and charged with first-degree assault.
