The incident occurred in New London County around 10: 30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4 in the area of in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Roosevelt Street, in New London. According to New London Police Capt. Matthew Galante, officers, and the New London Fire Department responded to the area after receiving numerous 911 calls. Man, Woman Charged In Strangulation Death Of 17-Year-Old CT Girl Two Connecticut residents have been charged with the strangulation death of a 17-year-old girl found when police responded to a report of an unresponsive female. New London County resident Dnazia Uzzle, age 17, of Groton, was found on Saturday, April 15, around 3 a.m. at a home in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Buchanan Road in New London. According to New London Police Capt. Matthew Galante, when police arrived they found Uzzle unresponsive and transported her to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital where she later died.
