Stamford Woman Wanted For Stealing Purse In Greenwich Taken Into Custody In Norwalk A 23-year-old woman was nabbed months after allegedly stealing a purse in Greenwich and charged with felony larceny. Jamie Edwards-Hinton of Stamford was picked up by Norwalk Police on Tuesday and turned over to Greenwich Police who had an active warrant for her arrest for allegedly stealing the purse from a car parked in the lot at the Thru-Way Shopping Center at 13333 East Putnam Ave., on July 30, said Greenwich Police arrest report. Two Women Nabbed In Norwalk Vehicle Burglary Spree Two women have been busted in connection with a series of vehicle burglaries that took place in June.  Norwalk Detectives investigated four motor vehicle burglaries that occurred in the parking garage at 770 Connecticut Ave., during June, said Norwalk Police Lt.Terry Blake. Based on their investigation, detectives determined Jamie Edwards-Hinton, 22, of Stamford, was the person responsible for the burglaries and arrest warrants were recently issued, Blake said.
