Police have identified the infant who drowned in a bathtub in Connecticut over the weekend as a 7-month-old from New Haven County, authorities said on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Angel Josiah Rodriguez was being cared for by family members in East Haven on Sunday, Oct. 6, when he was left unattended in a tub, police said. The boy's mother, who is from Ansonia, was not at the Redfield Avenue home when the boy died. The incident took place in New Haven County around 12 p.m., Wednesday, June 28, when New Haven Police responded to a home on Farren Avenue. According to Capt. An infant who was found unresponsive died despite efforts by first responders in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Norwalk around 2:17 p.m., Sunday, July 10. Norwalk communications received a 911 call regarding an unresponsive infant. Immediately, the dispatcher handling the call began providing resuscitation instructions over the phone, said Sgt. Police Investigating Death Of Baby At CT Motel
Police are investigating the death of a baby at a motel in Connecticut. Authorities in Hartford County responded to a report of a medical incident, which was described as a "fall," at the Motel 6 in Enfield at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, police said. After arriving at the scene at 11 Hazard Ave., investigators found the deceased "pre-term" baby, Enfield Police reported. Stamford police said the cause of death of a four-month-old baby girl from Tennessee who was found dead in a local hotel will likely be due to a medical issue. Police were notified of the death around 7 a.m. Saturday after the mother woke up at the America Best Value Inn in Stamford and found her small daughter was not breathing.
