Stamford Woman Charged With DUI After Traffic Stop In Wilton A woman from Stamford has been charged with DUI after a traffic stop in Wilton, police say. Wilton Police initiated a traffic stop on a 2009 Mazda after observing the driver run a red light on Thursday, Nov. 21 around 6:45 a.m. When speaking with the driver, identified as Samantha Bonkowski, 28, of Stamford, police say she showed signs of impairment. Bonkowski was subsequently asked to participate in a series of field sobriety tests, which police say she did not pass. Greenwich Police say they responded to a report of a disabled vehicle in the area of Davis Avenue and Bruce Park Avenue on Saturday, June 15 around 5 a.m. Further investigation revealed that a man was sleeping in the vehicle in question, according to police. DUI Motorist Who Failed To Maintain Lane Caught With Heroin, Meth, Cocaine, State Police Say An early morning traffic stop led to a host of charges for a man who was busted by Connecticut State Police troopers with heroin, cocaine and other drugs in his car. Troopers stopped Middletown resident Austin Dwight Rhinehart, 28, shortly before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, after he was spotted driving erratically on Route 9 in Chester. Police said that his vehicle was found swerving in and out of its lane at the time of the stop.
