18-Year-Old Nabbed In Stamford For Stealing Car, Credit Cards In Darien, Police Say
A man has been arrested after he stole a car from a Connecticut residence and later used the owner’s credit cards at a rest stop, police said.
On Wednesday, Oct. 18 in Fairfield County, 18-year-old Robert Barbera was arrested by Darien Police officers in the city of Stamford, the department reported.
Barbera’s arrest comes months after his alleged actions in August 2023. Officers put out a warrant for his arrest just two weeks prior to his being taken into custody.

A Fairfield County man has been arrested for an alleged road rage incident last year in which he pointed a gun at another motorist, police said.
Police arrested Leon Garcia, 55, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Sunday, Jan. 3, on a Superior Court arrest warrant charging him with breach of peace and threatening, after he was involved in a road rage incident where he allegedly pointed a handgun at another motorist in Fairfield, said Lt.
