Three men are facing charges after allegedly leading police on a highway chase in a stolen vehicle through the region, authorities said. New York State Police troopers in Northern Westchester attempted to stop the vehicle, which had been reported stolen, at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, as it drove on I-684 in the town of Bedford. New York State Police are investigating after a 15-year-old girl was killed during a two-vehicle crash. It happened around 1:30 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 20 on I-684 in Westchester near the I-287 merger in Harrison. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, officers responded to the crash which occurred when the driver of a 2018 Hyundai Sonata hit a median guide rail and was later struck by a second vehicle. A 20-year-old woman is facing multiple charges after she fled from Westchester County Police with her 8-month-old son in the car. The incident began around 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 7:09 p.m. when a Westchester County Police officer attempted to stop a Nissan Maxima for a traffic violation on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway in New Rochelle, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police. Three people were arrested after a three-county stolen vehicle chase that started in Norhern Westchester County. The chase began around 10:10 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3, New York State troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a 2015 Kia Forte for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on I-684 in the town of Bedford, said Trooper AJ Hicks.
