A 25-year-old Fairfield County man faces charges after allegedly interfering with officers as they responded to a house fire in Litchfield County, police said. The incident happened on Tuesday, April 25 around 8 a.m., when police responded to a house in Harwinton at 100 Wildcat Hill Rd. for a reported structure fire, according to state police. Firefighters have responded to two house fires in a Connecticut neighborhood. The fires broke out on Wednesday, March 16, in Middlesex County in the area of Clinton Avenue in Middletown, according to an announcement from Middletown Police Department on Wednesday afternoon. Firefighters were able to extinguish a fire at a large estate in Fairfield County without any injuries to residents. Firefighters worked quickly to rescue multiple pets from a Fairfield County home after a two-alarm blaze broke out overnight, officials announced. Photos: Resident Escapes After House Fire Breaks Out In Danbury
A Fairfield County resident was able to escape a house fire without injury. The fire took place around 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 25, on. Royal Drive in Danbury, said Danbury Fire Department Spokesperson James Gagliardo.
