37-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train In New Haven A 37-year-old man was struck and killed by a train in New Haven. The man was found dead around 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, along the tracks behind the New Haven Fire Department's training academy on Ella T. Man Accused Of Yelling Racial Slur, Spitting After Fairfield Crash A Fairfield County man was arrested for allegedly spitting in the face of a Hispanic man and yelling racial slurs following a traffic accident. The incident took place in Fairfield at the Stop & Shop gas station around 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3. Fairfield Police responded to Villa Avenue for a crash. Once on the scene, police saw Stephen Saint Raymond, age 58, of Bridgeport, yelling and hitting the front of the other driver’s car, said Lt. Michael E. Groping Suspect Sought In Fairfield County Police in Fairfield County are seeking assistance in the attempt to identify a suspect in two recent groping incidents. The incidents took place in Stamford on Sunday, April 10 on the east side. Police responded to two separate calls in which victims were groped by a Hispanic man in his 20s to 30s, said Lt. Police Searching For Suspect Who Shot, Killed Connecticut Man Police in Connecticut are searching for a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a 35-year-old man. William Gonzalez, age 35, of East Hartford, was found shot around 7:30 a.m., Saturday, April 24 when officers responded to a report of shots fired outside in the area of a parking lot near Elm and Olmstead streets in East Hartford, said Lieutenant Joshua Litwin.
