Fatal Hit-Run: Police ID Connecticut Man Hit By Fleeing SUV Police have identified a Connecticut man who was hit and killed by a fleeing SUV on a sidewalk. The incident took place in Hartford around 11 p.m., Saturday, April 22 in the area of Farmington Avenue at Gillette Street. According to Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert, the victim identified as Anthony Williams, age 30, of Hartford, was found seriously injured on a sidewalk just off the roadway and had apparently been struck by a vehicle.
