These New England Diners Rank Among Best In America, New Report Says
Several New England eateries were listed among the best diners in the United States in a new report from Tasting Table.
The website shared its list of the best diners in the US on Thursday, June 23.
Blue Benn, located in Bennington, Vermont, made the list due to its wide selection of dishes, such as Crunchberry Pancakes.
Tasting Table also included Modern Diner, located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, citing its popular specials menu, which frequently changes.
Maine Diner, located in Wells, Maine, was cited for its seafood dishes, such as lobster rolls and celebrated seafood chowder.

A bagel shop with two successful storefronts in Westchester County has opened a new Connecticut location.
Lenny's Bagels, eponymously named after owner Lenny Damato, has used the same Manhattan bagel recipe for 35 years at its Rye Brook and Pelham shops.
Its process involves steaming uncooked bagels before they are baked.
After its Friday, Oct. 2 opening, Nutmeggers in Greenwich can taste their tried-and-true bagels at their new establishment.

Thousands Expected For Annual Oyster Festival In Norwalk
The 42nd annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival is expected to draw thousands of visitors for performances, food, and fun.
Mike DelGuidice & Big Shot, and Brian Howe will take the night off from performing with Billy Joel to headline the festival.
The event, Friday, Sept. 6, Saturday, Sept. 7 and Sunday, Sept. 8 is held at Veteran’s Park, adjacent to Norwalk Harbor on Seaview Avenue in Norwalk.
