Woman Busted At Norwalk Spa For Offering Prostitution Services, Police Say
A woman has been charged with promoting prostitution at a busy Fairfield County spa. HongMin Wang, age 58, of Queens, was arrested on Monday, Dec. 18, by members of the Norwalk Police Special Services Division at the Healthy Spa at 99 New Canaan Ave. An investigation into activities at the spa stemmed from numerous complaints about this location, said Sgt. A former public works superintendent in Fairfield County has been sentenced to prison for committing environmental crimes and conspiring with others to defraud. Scott Bartlett, age 61, of Fairfield, was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Friday, Dec. 1, suspended after five years and five years of probation, said Chief State’s Attorney Patrick J. Griffin. A 31-year-old woman is accused of stealing money orders that were sent from a Fairfield County mailbox and pocketing the money for herself. State officials have released the identities of two men killed in a boating accident off the coast of Fairfield County. The men have been identified as Cristofer Cifuentes, age 26, and Ludyn Cifuentes, age 41, both of New York City, said Will Healy, spokesman for the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
