'Jaws Of Life' Used To Extricate Woman After Serious Crash In Fairfield A 28-year-old woman received serious injuries during a two-vehicle crash in the Town of Fairfield Tuesday night. Dozens of callers alerted the Fairfield Emergency Communications Center of the crash that took place around 9:14 p.m. at the intersection of North Benson and the Post roads, according to the Fairfield Fire Department. Within seconds of the first 911 call, an off-duty EMT reported additional information that a driver was trapped in one of the vehicles and extrication would be needed, the department said on Facebook.
