Former Employees Connected To Burglaries At Embody Fitness In Darien
Two former employees have been charged in connection with burglaries at Embody Fitness' location in Darien. Stamford residents Samuel Marrero, 24, and Osvaldo Acuna, 20, allegedly committed burglaries on eight separate occasions in January and February Acuna was connected to five of the burglaries and Marrero to three, Darien Police said. When Darien Police responded to a Feb. 26 report of a burglary at Embody Fitness, located at 380 Heights Road, management informed responding officers that on the past two mornings, the cash count for the cash register had been off from the evening prior.…

Surveillance video has been released of a former employee at a New Canaan fitness gourmet store who surrendered himself into police custody this week after being caught red-handed. On March 6, investigators at the New Canaan Police Department received a report of a burglary at Embody Fitness on Forest Street, which was caught on video days earlier at approximately 3:45 in the morning, when $100 was taken. A former employee at a New Canaan fitness gourmet store surrendered himself into police custody after being busted on video allegedly stealing money from the business.
