Boats Destroyed During Fire At Norwalk Marina Two boats were destroyed at a Norwalk marina after firefighters arrived to find the two "fully involved," in flames. The fire took place in Norwalk around 6:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 26 at Rex Marina, located at 144 Water St., said Steve Shay, deputy chief of the Norwalk Fire Department. Shay said when firefighters arrived the two boats were fully engulfed in flames and began battling the blaze from the dock while the fire boat responded to the scene.
