State Police Welcome 37 New DARE Officer Candidates
DARE. in Connecticut welcomed 37 new officer candidates on Monday who will spend the next two weeks learning how to work with elementary school students in the areas of drugs and violence.The candidates for the Drug Awareness Resistance Education (DARE) program, includes 12 Connecticut state troopers, 17 police officers, one military police officer and seven out-of-state police officers.
