Michael Freilich died in his sleep from natural causes on Friday, Dec. 17, according to his obituary. He was 30 years old. Born in Kentucky in 1991, Freilich was raised in West Hartford and was well-known on the basketball courts around town. His passion for the sport was obvious, and he was a force to be reckoned with at Morley and the JCC, those who knew him said. Student From Area Found Dead In Vehicle On College Campus In Connecticut A college student was found dead inside his vehicle in a campus parking garage in Connecticut. Lee Barrett, from Hamden, was found around 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22, by an Eastern Connecticut State University police officer inside a vehicle in a parking garage, the college said. Nurse From Fairfield County Sentenced For Dismembering College Student A private duty nurse from Bridgeport was sentenced Friday to 60 years in prison for killing a college student and dismembering her body before dumping her remains in Trumbull., according to multiple sources.  Jermain Richards was found guilty in September of the murder of 20-year-old Alyssiah Marie Wiley of West Haven in the spring of 2013.   Two earlier trials ended with hung juries.
