'Lucky No One Was Hurt': Teen Fires Shot Through School Window, Into Classroom In Bridgeport An 18-year-old was arrested for firing a gun that sent a bullet into a classroom at Dunbar Elementary School in Bridgeport, police said. The incident took place around 8:15 a.m. Monday when Geijon Willams fired a gun in the direction of Dunbar school, at  445 Union Ave,, as he was attempting to shoot his mother's boyfriend, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police.  One bullet did penetrate through a school window and into a classroom in the school, he said. Driver Charged With Using School Bus To Deal Heroin In Fairfield County A school bus driver for the Bridgeport School District was nailed by police for using the bus to deal heroin in Fairfield County, according to the Stratford Police. Garfield Howell, 29, of Stratford, was arrested Thursday, following a months-long investigation by the Stratford Police Narcotics Vice and Intelligence Unit, said Capt. Frank Eannotti.  During the investigation, detectives found that Howell, a school bus driver for WE Transport in Bridgeport, using the bus to purchase and deliver heroin on numerous occasions, Eannotti said. Broken Pipes, Heating Problems Close 3 Bridgeport Schools BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Dunbar Elementary School and Park City Magnet School in Bridgeport are closed Monday due to broken pipes, according to NBC Connecticut. Fairchild Wheeler Magnet High School in Bridgeport is also closed because of heat-related problems in the building, NBC 30 said.
