CT Couple Killed In PA Hit-And-Run; Driver Sentenced To Up To 56 Years A Pennsylvania man was sentenced to 26 years, nine months to 56 years, 10 months in state prison for causing the high-speed hit-and-run crash that killed a Connecticut couple in Bucks County last February. John Thomas Wadlinger Jr., 32, of Bensalem, received the sentence from Common Pleas Judge C. Theodore Fritsch on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, at the Bucks County Justice Center. Man Nabbed For Possession Of Pot, Driving On Suspended License, Darien Police Say A 53-year-old man has been arrested on a warrant for driving on a suspended license and possession of pot. Eric Robinson, age 53, of New Haven, was arrested by New Haven Police on Friday, Feb. 26, for violation of probation and was then turned over to Darien Police for a bench warrant from 2018, said Sgt. James Palmieri. Robinson had been arrested in 2017 by Darien Police and failed to appear in court at which time a warrant was issued. Robinson was transported to Darien Police Headquarters where he was processed and released on a $5,000 bond.

Man Stopped For Possible Hit-Run Nabbed For Cocaine Possession, Police Say A Stratford man stopped for a suspected hit-and-run ended up being busted for alleged possession of cocaine. Mark T. Fabrizi, 28, was arrested after being stopped around 10:09 a.m., Sunday, July 21, said Fairfield Police Capt. Robert Kalamaras. During the traffic stop, Fabrizi admitted to officers that he had several grams of cocaine in his pocket.  In addition, a narcotics K-9, also incidicated the presence of a narcotic odor, he said.
