A Connecticut man was charged after firefighters responded to a home for medical assistance which turned out to be an assault and a death. The incident took place in New Haven County around 2:50 p.m. on Monday, April 10 in Waterbury at 27 Platt St. Waterbury firefighters responded to the home and found a 67-year-old man who was unresponsive and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital prior to police arrival on the scene, said Lt. 15-Year-Old Stabs Parent With Pocket Knife At CT Residence, Police Say
A Connecticut teen has been arrested after allegedly stabbing a parent with a pocket knife. The incident took place in Litchfield County around 10:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24 on Pratt Street. According to Chief William Fitzgerald of the Winchester Police, officers responded to a call for a domestic disturbance at the home and found that a 15-year-old had stabbed a parent with a pocket knife. A 28-year-old Fairfield County man is accused of stealing a work vehicle from his employer and pushing a victim from the stolen vehicle, causing injuries. Darien Police officers responded to the Norwalk Police Department to take custody of Dustin Wymms, of Norwalk, at 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, according to the Darien Police Department. Four Hospitalized After Stabbing At CT Home
Four people were hospitalized following a stabbing incident at a Connecticut home. Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance involving a stabbing at a home on North Street in Hamden at about 6 p.m. on Monday, July 11, according to the Hamden Police Department. Police said four occupants of the home were treated at the scene by Hamden Fire Rescue and then taken to the hospital. Their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, police said. Man Accused Of Attacking Victim During Incident In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Fairfield County was nabbed for allegedly attacking another person during a domestic dispute. Gerard Gibney, age 72, of Darien, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 7 on charges of interfering with an emergency call and disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a Darien residence on a report of a domestic disturbance. The victim reported that Gibney was attempting to enter the victim’s room to hurt them, Darien Police said. Residents in one Fairfield County town were warned to stay in their homes during an armed standoff with a suspect following a domestic dispute. The incident took place around 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16 in Trumbull. A 49-year-old man has been arrested and charged him with operating a marijuana grow house in New Canaan, police announced on Monday, June 17. The arrest comes after police were dispatched to the residence on Toby’s Lane late in the evening on April 30 for a report of a domestic disturbance.
