BMW Motorcycle Driver From Fairfield County Killed In Crash With SUV The 38-year-old man operating a 2014 BMW motorcycle who was killed in a crash with an SUV in Northern Westchester on Friday afternoon has been identified. At approximately 2:15 p.m., Daniel J. Thiel of Sandy Hook, CT, was operating the motorcycle on Route 121 in Lewisboro when he struck another vehicle, a 2014 Acura MDX, at the intersection of Route 138, state police from the Somers barrack said. Thiel was ejected from the motorcycle during the collision, and he was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene by responding Westchester County paramedics. Traffic was shut down at the intersect…
