Joan Elizabeth (Seyfried) MacDonald, 87, formerly of Ridgefield, died Friday, May 24 at Filosa Nursing and Rehabilitation in Danbury, after an eight-year struggle with dementia. She was born in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 14, 1931 to Oscar and Evelyn (Robert) Seyfried. Wall Street Theater In Norwalk Flips The Switch On New Marquee NORWALK, Conn. -- The Wall Street Theater in Norwalk marked its official opening after an extensive, $10 million renovation by lighting up its marquee in a ceremony. The 700-seat theater, located at 71 Wall St., was originally built in 1915 and has been transformed into a next-generation performance space that will showcase professional music, comedy, dance and stage performances.  In keeping with the 100-year-old history of the building, the blade and marquee sign will serve as a beacon for emerging artists and performers showcasing their talents. The lighting ceremony was held Jan. 5.
