UConn Senior From Fairfield County Killed In Crash A University of Connecticut student from Fairfield County has died from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle rollover crash. The crash happened around 4 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 in Coventry, Connecticut, about seven miles west of UConn's campus in Storrs. The student has been identified as Cole Montefusco, 21, of Redding, a 2016 graduate of Joel Barlow High School. Montefusco was located on the side of the roadway seriously injured after being ejected from the vehicle during the crash on Boston Turnpike in the area of Lathrop Drive, the Coventry Police Department said.
