Two Fairfield County men were sentenced for trafficking counterfeit oxycodone pills that contained fentanyl. Stamford residents Arber Isaku and Vincent Decaro, both age 32, were sentenced on Monday, Aug. 8, according to Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States attorney for the District of Connecticut. Isaku was sentenced to 51 months in prison and three years of supervised release, and Decaro was sentenced to 48 months in prison and three years of supervised release, Avery said. Colleges are issuing warnings about fentanyl-laced Adderall after one student died and another is in critical condition after using the fake drug. Ohio State University in Columbus issued an urgent warning on Thursday, May 5, after three students overdosed, with one later dying and one remaining in critical condition. Two men have been sentenced for conspiring to manufacture and distribute phony Xanax tablets and anabolic steroids that were distributed over the dark web in Connecticut. William Fusco, of Philadelphia, has been sentenced to 20 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, while Norwich resident Jason Chen has been sentenced to there years probation for their roles in the distribution and manufacturing of the counterfeit drugs. Fairfield County Man Charged With Distributing Counterfeit Drugs
A Fairfield County man was arrested and charged on a federal criminal complaint related to distributing counterfeit drugs. Kamil Golebiowski, 25, of Shelton, was arrested Tuesday as part of an ongoing statewide initiative targeting narcotics dealers who distribute heroin, fentanyl or opioids that cause death or serious injury to users, said John H.
