Man, Woman Found Dead In CT Home A man and woman were found dead in a Connecticut home after police responded to a report of two unresponsive people with gunshot wounds. The two were found in New Haven around 8:16 a.m., on Thursday, Dec. 14 in the 700 block of Russell Street. According to Sgt. Cherelle Carr of the New Haven Police, police found a 52-year-old woman and a 62-year-old who were both pronounced dead by fire department personnel.  A firearm was located and collected.  Both victims were transported to the office of the Connecticut Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy will be performed. Police Search For Suspect After Derby Woman Found Murdered Following Initial Hit-Run Report An apparent fatal hit-and-run in Connecticut is now being investigated as a homicide, police said. Officers from the Derby Police Department alerted police in Ansonia of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian who was struck at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30 near the intersection of Coe Lane and North Coe Lane.
