The incident took place in Westport around 12:45 a.m., Tuesday, March 26 at a residence near Compo Beach. According to Lt. Eric Woods of the Westport Police, the resident reported that their Ring doorbell camera activated when a suspect entered a vehicle parked in the driveway. The incident took place in Westport on Saturday, May 28. Victoria Grant, age 61, of Norwalk, was arrested at 9 a.m., Friday, Aug. 6, when Westport Police Officers responded to Bridge Street on a report of a disturbance, said Lieutenant David Wolf of the Westport Police Department.  When police arrived, the victim told officers that she was walking along the street when Grant began throwing large rocks at her, Wolf said. The Westport Fire Department Emergency Communications Center received a report of a house fire on Compo Road South at 12:45 pm Thursday, Aug. 5, said Fire Chief Robert Yost.  The residents of the home, including two children, were able to evacuate before the fire department responded. Suspect Located Two Years After Lexus, Audi Stolen In Westport It took nearly two years, but police in Westport apprehended a suspect who allegedly stole a Lexus and Audi from area driveways. A Lexus was stolen from a Compo Road South driveway during the early morning hours of Dec. 30, 2016, after the owner left the key inside the vehicle. On Feb. 26 the following year, the car was recovered in Waterbury, with a handgun and cell phone inside that did not belong to the owner. Six Ducklings Rescued After Being Stuck In Storm Drain Near Compo Point Westport firefighters were busy Saturday saving six ducklings from a storm drain. The department received a call about the ducklings and headed to Compo Road South to rescue the little guys. Westport Animal Control also responded to the scene. Working together, the two agencies managed to rescue all six ducklings.  A mother was not spotted in the area.
