Man Suffers Fractures To Face In Assault At Busy Intersection In Bridgeport A man suffered fractures to his face in an alleged assault at a busy intersection in Bridgeport. The male victim was assaulted with an unknown object at 6:08 p.m. Wednesday, April 24 and sustained several fractures to his face and head, according to the City of Bridgeport Public Information Officer Terron Jones. The incident took place near the corner of Park Avenue and State Street, Jones said. The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition, said Jones.
