Man Makes 'Chemical Warfare' Threat Inside Yale New Haven Hospital, Prompting Some Evacuations Patients and staff at the Yale New Haven Hospital got a scare when a man brought a towel potentially covered with chemicals into the building, threatening “chemical warfare" overnight, police said. The man - whose name has not been released - walked into the building in an agitated state at approximately 10 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, making “irrational statements,” police said. He then took the towel out and began shouting “chemical warfare.” The hazmat incident forced sections of the hospital to be evacuated.
