Connecticut Pub Loses Lawsuit Claiming Covid-19 Restrictions Unconstitutional A judge has found Gov. Ned Lamont was within his rights to call for and extend a state of emergency that closed much of the economy due to the COVID-19 threat. On Wed., Sept. 16, a Superior Court judge decided a case filed against the governor by Kristine Casey, owner of Casey’s Irish Pub in Milford, according to CT News Junkie.
