Harvard Grad Student Becomes First Active Military Member Crowned Miss America A graduate student at Harvard has made history as the first active duty member of the military to be crowned Miss America. Madison Marsh, who is working on her master's degree in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and currently a graduate intern with Harvard Medical School, was crowned on Sunday, Jan. 14. Wilton Resident Peggy Grodd Spearheads Team That Raises $2M For Cancer Research Wilton resident Peggy Grodd has worked diligently to spearhead a team that has now raised a cumulative $2 million for cancer research. Peggy and her team, now called Amy’s Admirers/Webber’s Warriors, joined the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk in honor of Peggy’s sister, Amy Kohlberg Quinlan, who died of cancer in 2003.  The team name was eventually expanded to include Neal Webber, a friend of Peggy’s husband’s friend who died of prostate cancer.
