A burst of cold air that will engulf the Northeast will make it feel more like mid-November than mid-October, with wintry precipitation possible in some areas. The arrival of a cold front on Monday, Oct. 17 will bring some showers or thunderstorms at times on a mostly cloudy day with a high temperature in the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service. Line Of Severe Storms Will Bring Downpours, Strong Winds, Possible Isolated Tornadoes
Potentially severe thunderstorms with strong wind gusts will sweep through the region on the final day of the winter season on Saturday, March 19. Alberta Clipper System Expected To Bring Up To Half-Foot Of Snow To Parts Of Northeast
The first measurable snowfall is expected in several areas in the Northeast overnight, with up to a half-foot of accumulation expected in some spots from a new storm system. The time frame for snowfall is after nightfall on Sunday, Nov. 14 into Monday morning, Nov. 15.
