The New Canaan Police Department received a complaint from an area resident who had their credit card used by a third party without their permission in November 2019. Man Critically Injured After Being Struck By Lexus In Residential Neighborhood Of Bridgeport A man is clinging to life after being hit by a car in a residential neighborhood. Anthony Johnson, 31, of Bridgeport, was standing at 140 East Avenue in Bridgeport when he was struck by a black Lexus around 12:45 a.m. Friday, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. After being hit, the car carried Johnson a short distance and before he was dropped on the roadway, Harris said. The driver of the Lexus stopped and immediately called 911.
