Suspect Charged For His Role In Murder At Inn In Bridgeport Bridgeport Police have made an arrest in the murder of a 48-year-old local man at the Sunny Side Inn who was an innocent victim, police say. Glenn Pettway, 25, of Bridgeport, was arrested early Friday for his role in Feb. 26, 2018, the murder of Alfanso Anderson at the Sunny Side Inn, located at 174 Lake St., said Bridgeport Police Lt. ID Released For Victim Of Fairfield County Motel Homicide A 48-year-old man has been identified as the city's fourth homicide victim of the year, according to Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Alfanso Anderson, 48, of Ezra Street in Bridgeport, was found dead Monday at a local inn, Harris said. Police received a call around 11:30 p.m. Monday of shots fired at the Sunny Side Inn, 145 Lake St., Harris said. When officers responded, they found Anderson dead, who had been shot at least once. Police did not release any additional information regarding the shooting or what might have led to the violence.
