New Milford Native Joshua Westlake, Arborist, Gifted Sportsman, Dies Unexpectedly At 38 An arborist and "gifted" sportsman, lifelong New Milford resident, Joshua David Westlake, died unexpectedly on Wednesday,  Aug. 14, at age 38. Westlake died at his home in New Haven. He was born in New Milford on June 7, 1981. He graduated from New Milford High School in 2000. He began his lifelong career as an arborist while working with and learning from his dad at Candlewood Tree Care Co. in 1998. Westlake was the son of Warren and Linda Westlake, brother of Liz Larson and Emily Westlake, and uncle of Mike, Joey, Timmy, and Emma Larson of New Milford.  He is also survived…
