Fairfield's Bigelow Tea To Host 26th Annual Community Challenge Race

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The 26th annual Bigelow Tea Community Challenge is set for Sunday and again will be hosted by the Fairfield-based company.

The following will be featured at the event:

• 5K road race

• Run by the harbor and through Historic Southport.

• A 2-mile non-competitive fitness walk

• Kids' fun Run

• Food and T-shirts

• Corporate teams

The event will benefit the Fairfield Senior Center, Sandcastle Playground, Wakeman Boys & Girls Club, YMCA of Fairfield, Mercy Learning Center, Cardinal Shehan Center, Neighborhood Studios of Fairfield County, Center for Women & Families, Connecticut Food Bank, Operation Hope, Burroughs Community Center, Grasmere by the Sea, Caroline House, Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Janus House, Norma Pfriem Breast Care Center and the Bridge House.
