Mascolo will attend Wake Forest University. Mascolo played as infielder and relief pitcher for the Jesuits since his sophomore year, and was a starting shortstop during his junior year.
The varsity baseball team has compiled a historic record of 38-10 in Mascolo's two years on the team; the 38 wins are the program’s most wins in a two year period since the 1984 and 1985 seasons. A true student-athlete, he is a Cum Laude honor student, member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. He is a resident of Fairfield.
A Summa Cum Laude honor student for all of his Prep years and a standout pitcher in the Prep baseball program, Stone will begin his college academic and baseball careers at Harvard University in the fall of 2016.
The 6-foot 6-inch right-hander has been a varsity baseball player since his sophomore year. Stone’s contribution has come on the mound where he has pitched in both starting and relieving roles; and during the 2015 season, along with his brother Kevin ’15, formed one of the toughest 1-2 pitching tandems in the state of Connecticut.
Stone earned All SCC Quinnipiac recognition in junior year. Stone was recognized with the Harvard College Book Award at this year’s academic awards Mass. Stone is a resident of Stamford.
