FAIRFIELD, Conn. The Fairfield University mens basketball team meets Old Dominion Friday night in the Hall of Fame Holiday Showcase in Springfield, Mass. Tipoff is at 9 p.m. and will be televised on SportsNet New York (SNY).
Fairfield (5-4) is coming off consecutive wins in upstate New York last weekend, defeating Niagara and Canisius. Rakim Sanders earned league player of the week honors after averaging 17.5 points and 11 rebounds in the two victories. Sanders is a senior transfer from Boston College. He had 19 points and 10 rebounds in the win over Canisius.
Fairfield returns home Sunday to play New Hampshire at 1 p.m. at Webster Bank Arena.
