Fairfield Ludlowe Names Vinnie Camera Football Coach

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Fairfield Ludlowe High School has chosen Vinnie Camera as its next head football coach, the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference said Wednesday.

Camera is currently head coach at Platt Tech in Milford. A former football player at Fairfield University, Camera was an assistant coach at Fairfield Prep before taking the job at Platt Tech in 2007.

“Vinnie was the standout candidate in the interview process and we are looking forward to him joining our staff at Fairfield Ludlowe,” Ludlowe Athletic Director Dave Shultz said, according to the FCIAC website.

Fairfield Ludlowe football finished 5-5 in the 2012 season under coach Matt McCloskey. Camera led Platt Tech to a 6-4 record last season in the Constitution State Conference.
